Tube: Take the Victoria Line from Brixton to Oxford Circus.
Walking route: Heddon Street → Trident Studios → The Marquee Club → The Ship → 21 Denmark Street.

Suggested time: around 15:00.
Tube: Travel west from the West End towards Hammersmith.
Visit: Hammersmith Odeon / Eventim Apollo, where Ziggy Stardust was retired on stage in 1973.
