Leeds — Kirkstall, 1973-06-29

When David Bowie came to Leeds for a concert . I had finished work late . I was standing at a bus stop when this big black limo stopped at the lights . He was sitting in the back seat reading . I was shocked to think I was so close to this famous person . He never looked my way . That memory has stayed with me all my life . I never had tickets to the concert but that day I was closer to him than anyone.I used to buy all his music he was amazing .
