David Bowie Tour band 1990 – Sound+Vision Tour
Bowie specifically chose a smaller band for the tour, saying in a contemporary interview that “It’s a much smaller sound. It’s not quite as orchestrated as any of the other tours. The plus of that is that there is a certain kind of drive and tightness that you get with that embryonic line-up, where everybody is totally reliant on the other two or three guys, so everybody gives a lot more”
David Bowie – vocals, guitar, saxophone[
Adrian Belew – guitar, backing vocals, music director
Erdal Kızılçay – bass guitar, backing vocals
Rick Fox – keyboards, backing vocals
Michael Hodges – drums

Note:

ADOBE AUDITION *
00. typical distant hollow stadium sound
01. transferred from 96 kHz to 44.1 kHz
02. no tweak due to multiple issues
03. deleted all the gaps between the original tracks
04. diginoise during ‘Sound And Vision’ possible due to disc rot – can’t be fixed
05. crossfaded ‘Ziggy Stardust’ into ‘China Girl’ to fix a nasty gap as good as possible – a couple of seconds of music missing
06. ‘Suffragette City’ is another [mono] source, apllied pseudo stereo effect and raised the volume with 3dB. During the track the volume decreases – can’t be fixed
07. ‘Fame ’90’ is another [mono] source, apllied pseudo stereo effect
08. ‘Heroes’ is another [mono] source, sounds like it was recorded from inside a donkeys ass, left it the way it was
09. volume drop during ‘Changes’ – can’t be fixed properly so left it as it was
10. volume drop during ‘Modern Love’ – fixed as good as possible with pseudo stereo effect
11. volume drop during ‘The Jean Genie medley’ – fixed as good as possible with pseudo stereo effect
12. retracked
