Not the best concerts:
Intro :”Liebe Freunde – zum ersten Mal nach funf Jahren wieder auf der Buhne: David Bowie und sein Band” ,George Sinuns announces.
It was not one of his best concerts but this tape is worth listening to,because the sound quality is fantastic.
After the concert Bowie went to ‘Jungle’,a smart club, but earlier that day the band went to East Berlin. George Simms bought eight East German flags and when he wanted to cross the border the customs officer asked to know what he needed the flags for. George said he wanted to pin one to the wall,he meant his bedroom wall, but the man understood THE WALL! In the end he managed to get into West Berlin but the-rest of the band were almost arrested on suspicion of espionnage when they wanted to take snapshots of each other …

Hello! Your site is fantastic! I was at the June 20, 1983 concert at Waldbuehne in Berlin. As a 19-year old American in Berlin, it was among the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. I’d love to hear this concert again. Please let me know how that could be possible.
