The 4th disc in the “David Bowie Archive Series”, this one is the complete set performed for “The White Room”, which was brutallly chopped down for broadcast to just 4 songs and is presented fully here in superb quality in “warts & all” mode, complete with the restarted “Under Pressure” due to a loss of DI signal on Gail’s bass guitar caused by a camera operator running over a lead!
The band are in fine form & Bowie’s mood is evidently bouyant and a great time seems to have been had by all – well worthwhile if not in your collection, and the broadcast version is also on the tracker as it was included as a bonus with this release in lossless PCM instead of the usual garbage AC3/Dolby Digital.
